Bow Valley College
Bow Valley College is the largest comprehensive community college in Alberta with campuses in Calgary, Banff, Airdrie, Canmore, Strathmore, Cochrane, High River and Okotoks. Each year more than 16,000 learners come to Bow Valley to learn a better living. The mission of the college is “Where people live and work, Bow Valley College will contribute to the vitality of the communities and the strength of the economy through innovative adult education programs and services which equip people for successful living, lifelong learning and work in the global knowledge based economy.”
The Centre for Excellence in Immigrant and Intercultural Advancement at Bow Valley introduces over 3700 learners to language and workplace skills training programs. We are a leader in the development of award-winning programs and learning resources that assist practitioners, employers and learners within our community and around the globe. The Centre provides leadership in the integration and advancement of immigrants into Canadian Society through English language learning, career advancement, intercultural awareness and global citizenship.
The Iniikokaan Aboriginal Centre provides strong learner support to meet the academic goals, with the acknowledgement of diversity and strengths, for the success of First Nations, Metis and Inuit learners.
